Paul Jay Logo Design
Sewickley, PA
Artist, photographer, graphic designer, printmaker, museum designer.
Logo design for corporate identification, product branding, and signage and event identification are the most challenging projects for a graphic artist. Universal symbolism of shape and color, visual simplicity, and communicating the essence of product or service are core goals. Oftentimes the designer is trapped into what i call “design by committee”, especially in corporate design invitations. Ideally a logo must work at scales both small and large, both in color and monochrome, from business cards and stationery, to websites, to outdoor displays and signage.
